A verifiable infrastructure inventory

A single, deduplicated inventory of 8,645 data-center and network facilities across 161 countries. Every non-trivial value carries the URL it came from — nothing estimated, nothing un-sourced.

  • 01 One physical asset per record, deduplicated across sources.
  • 02 Every material field linked to its original source.
  • 03 Data centers separated from POPs and cloud on-ramps.
Sources

OpenStreetMap (ODbL), PeeringDB (AUP), Wikidata (CC0), GADM, operator sites and public filings.

Classification

A dedicated classifier separates true data centers from network POPs and unknowns using footprint, operator type and interconnection density.

Provenance promise

Measured values only — IT-load (MW), PUE, floor area — each traceable to, and verifiable at, its source page.

Built for verification, not approximation

Every material value keeps its origin — so any figure can be traced and checked.

01

Collected

Public datasets and operator disclosures — OpenStreetMap footprints, PeeringDB facilities, Wikidata, operator pages and filings.

02

Resolved

Duplicates merged, locations assigned to countries, and each asset classified as a data center, POP or unknown.

03

Linked

Every material value retains its original source URL, confidence and a Data Quality Score — verifiable at source.
